Parkway Shopping Centre was the centre of excitement yesterday, Monday 19th July, when pop duo Jedward arrived at the centre to thousands of screaming fans. As part of the launch of their new album - Planet Jedward, the famous duo appeared at the Xtra-Vision store at Parkway Shopping Centre to give their fans an opportunity to get a signed copy of the album.

The sea of fans outside the centre were the picture of enthusiasm as they waited with anticipation for the arrival of their icons of the moment. Many fans had gone all out for the event, having made impressive efforts to impersonate the duo's trademake spiked hair and skinny jeans. Some had even been waiting since 5am, but once the dynamic double act arrived at Parkway, they still had plenty of energy left to exercise their vocal chords.

As for the pop twins, they were more than happy to oblige and were literally bouncing off the walls, eager to take photographs with and sign autographs for their young Limerick fan base.
